Turning Smart Campaign guesswork into calls a Reno auto shop could count
Smart Campaigns were counting directions lookups as results. We rebuilt the account by service and location and tracked real calls and form submissions.
Show up when people in your area search for what you do, and know which ads bring in phone calls and form submissions.
A Google Ads account is only as good as what it’s pointed at. We build campaigns around the services you want more of and the areas you want to work in, so your budget goes to the searches most likely to turn into customers.
Then we keep working on it. We add negative keywords to stop paying for searches that were never going to hire you, rewrite ads, and adjust the account as the leads come in.
Clicks don’t pay the bills. Phone calls and form submissions do. Every plan tracks phone clicks and form submissions as leads, so you can see what your ad spend brought in, not just how many people visited.
SEO is worth doing, but it takes time to build before it brings in steady calls. A new business usually can’t wait that long. Google Ads puts you in front of people searching for your service in your area right away.
Local Google Ads is the place to start: one focused campaign for one service in one area, with lead tracking for phone clicks and form submissions. No website yet? Add a landing page so your ads have somewhere to send people. When the work is coming in, you can add a website and Local SEO so you’re not relying on ads forever.
When someone clicks an ad for one service in one town, they should land on a page about that service in that town, not your homepage. A dedicated page answers what they searched for, makes the phone number and form easy to find, and doesn’t send them wandering around the rest of your site.
Landing pages are a one-time add-on to any plan, quoted per page. See Landing Pages.
Start with the number of leads you want and work backwards. Pick your industry to use its average cost per click and conversion rate, then fill in your own goals.
Leads ÷ conversion rate × cost per click = monthly ad budget
Only a few clicks a day? Don't spread a small budget across every service and town. Start with one service in one area, so Google gets enough data to learn what works.
Industry figures are averages for Google search ads, from WordStream. Your account's real numbers will vary.
We start with the work you want more of and the towns you want it in. That decides the campaigns, the keywords and where the ads send people.
We write the ads, set up the campaigns and track phone clicks and form submissions as leads, so you can see which ads bring in work.
We keep adjusting the account, cutting searches that waste money, and report on what your ads brought in.

Yes. SEO takes time before it brings in steady calls. Ads can put you in front of customers searching for your service right away. Local Google Ads plus a landing page lets you start before you have a full website.
No. Ad spend is always separate and paid directly to Google. Our monthly price covers managing the account. New accounts that need campaigns built from scratch have a one-time $300 setup fee for campaign creation, tracking setup, keyword research and ad copy. It's waived with our Lead Generation and Tuned Complete bundles. Typical budgets are $500 to $1,500 a month for Local Google Ads, $1,500 to $3,000 for Growth Google Ads and $3,000 to $10,000 for Google Ads Management and $10,000 or more for larger accounts. Those are guidelines, not strict minimums or automatic upgrade thresholds.
Accounts with larger budgets, more than five campaigns, multiple locations or complex advertising needs are priced on account complexity and management requirements. The ad spend ranges on each plan are guidelines, so going past one doesn't automatically move you to a higher plan. Get in touch and we'll scope it.
